Privacy Policy
Last updated June 26, 2026
Somata is operated by Spring Lab, LLC (“Somata,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit somata.health, join the waitlist, submit feedback, make an optional deposit, or receive emails from us.
Somata is currently an early-stage website, waitlist, feedback, and product development project. We do not currently offer user accounts, health record storage, medical record uploads, AI health analysis, subscriptions, or clinical services. Product descriptions on the website refer to planned or intended features unless specifically stated as currently available.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, waitlist responses, feedback form responses, and optional deposit status.
Some waitlist questions may ask about broad health-related product interests, such as interest in organizing labs, health history, wearable data, or doctor visit preparation. These responses are used to understand demand and guide product development.
If you make an optional deposit, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card number. We may receive limited payment information such as your email, payment status, transaction ID, amount paid, and whether the payment succeeded.
We may also collect basic website and analytics information automatically, such as IP address, device type, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, time of visit, and interactions with the site.
The current website, waitlist, and feedback forms are not designed to collect medical records, lab results, diagnoses, treatment details, genetic data, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information. Please avoid including that information in free-text feedback responses.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the website and waitlist, send confirmation emails and product updates, understand demand for Somata, improve our messaging and product direction, review feedback, process optional deposits, measure website and marketing performance, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal, accounting, or security obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, waitlist responses, or feedback responses.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, waitlist, feedback forms, email, payments, hosting, database, analytics, security, and marketing measurement. These providers may include services such as Vercel, Supabase, Tally, Resend, Stripe, analytics tools, and advertising platforms, depending on the tools we use.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, in connection with a business transaction, or with your consent.
We do not intentionally provide feedback text, detailed health information, or individual health-related waitlist responses to advertising platforms.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Measurement
We may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand traffic, improve Somata, and measure marketing performance.
You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
If Somata later uses additional advertising pixels, targeted advertising tools, or similar tracking technologies, we may update this Privacy Policy and related disclosures as appropriate.
Email Communications
If you join the waitlist, submit feedback, or make a deposit, we may send you confirmation emails, product updates, launch announcements, feedback requests, and related communications.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. We may still send transactional or administrative emails, such as deposit confirmations or important policy updates.
HIPAA
Somata is not currently a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate under HIPAA. Information submitted through the website, waitlist, and feedback forms is governed by this Privacy Policy, not HIPAA.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the waitlist, communicate with you, develop Somata, process deposits, maintain records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may retain limited information when needed for legal, accounting, payment, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No website, database, or internet transmission is completely secure, so please do not submit highly sensitive information through the waitlist or feedback forms.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
You may also unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
Children
Somata is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
U.S. Focus
Somata is currently intended for users in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States.
Third-Party Services
Our website may link to or use third-party websites, forms, payment processors, analytics tools, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version and update the “Last Updated” date. Updated Privacy Policy terms apply after they are posted.
